Osim Triathlon 2007

Wah last sunday was the race now then i blog it :D
cuz only yesterday the organiser photos come out mah :D

alrite to fill u up the mr Beng and 2 frens took part in the olympic distance mixed relay.
simply say one swim, another bike and another run, get it?
for the uninitiated :D, mixed means got male and female.

ok at 1st the weather was not bad, abit warm, but since i was the swimmer it doesnt matter ;)
then came the rain, sudden downpour, so heavy the grass field turned into a mud field within minutes (am i exaggerating??) with choppy sea and strong wind.

i tot: WTF?? my 1st time swimming in open sea competition and this happened???

in the rain we couldnt hear a shit what the MC is talking abt?! so we waited, and the volunteers there can help us as they oso don know a shit what will the organisers do next. totally low moral mann...

anyway the rain kinda tired out after abt an hour and we made our way into the transition area. from there we tried to find out what the organisers will do. postpone? (not likely) cancel? (they better not)

ended up they delay the race and took out the swim leg(!wtf!) and modified the whole course for safety reasons. ( ok i buy that but i'm still disappointed and pissed)
Original course: Swim 1.5km, Bike 40km, Run 10km
Modified course: Run(on beach) 400m, Bike 20km, Run 5km

now u see why i'm pissed. trained so hard in the pool and sea just to run 400m on the beach????
hahahahahaha! wad a joke

anyway our team came in 6th and to complete the pissed off part? the 400m run on the beach has no timing taken!

anyway kena arrow to recite the national pledge at company's observance ceremony, the mr Beng will do his best to siam!!! :D

ok for some fun here, my colleague sent us one very nice game














the game is abt throwing a paper plane and how far u can land it. try to get it out of the window and watch out for the fan! mr Beng only managed a mere 99.217m do let me know if u manage a 100 :D click on the screenshots to play the game.
